Sick people can wear you down

I haven't posted anything in a couple of weeks because I've been sidetracked. I just plumb forgot to post anything. So..... I've been down at the coast with Leigh's sick children since Sat. morning. Olivia was running a fever, cough and had to have and IV to get some fluids in her on Sat. am before I got here. She ran fever all weekend and is now doing so much better. Blake and Emily had spent the night at Holly's on Friday night and they came home on Sat. afternoon. They have been having some fever, headaches, and cough but not as bad as Olivia. Called the Doc and got them some antibiotics called into the pharmacy for them. And Leigh has come down with it also. The only ones that don't have it here are Robbie, Me, and Gauge. Hope I don't come down with it. The doc said it was mycoplasma pneumonia. So much for me thinking that I might get to go and see Grace tomorrow after the dentist. I think that she's going to be walking before I get to see her. I read on Cherish's newsfeed that Grace was screaming today.. I'm sure it's because she knows that her Nana hasn't been to see her. Her papaw is planning on seeing her tomorrow afternoon. I thought that it was today but he said tomorrow. NOT fair!!!But I'm sure he thinks the same thing about me getting to see these down here all the time and all he gets to do is drive and come home and argue with J.J. and I'm at the beach..lol
Anyway..... I'm fixing to take a little nap and rest my eyes. Gotta drive home tomorrow morning and then go to T'town to the dentist...Fun!!!

Getting regrouped

Looks like I'm going to try and get focused and make a plan for my education. I'm not getting to go to school this semester due to lack of funds. :( But at least it's giving me some time to look at all my options. I'm going to start today.... applying for the lpn to rn theory and clinical programs. I've put this off too long. I'm really leaning towards taking online theory at Snead State and then doing a clinical closer to home. The clinical has to be one that is approved by the Al Board of Nursing. So... we'll see. I also need to start planning what I'm going to do for Christmas. Looks like I'm going to need to be in 2 places in the same time. Hmmmm... I need to start planning on what I'm going to get everyone. MONEY!!!!! I need to win the lottery. My car should be ready in a couple of weeks and that's going to cost. Anyway... I'm going to figure this all out and do what needs to be done....... Oh... and I need to lose some weight. My husband was making a remark about a woman on NCIS having dimples on her lower back. I said..well I'm sure that I have dimples... don't I.... He said no... just one big crack like the Liberty Bell!!!!! So I'm not going to be losing weight for him but for ME!!!! I just laughed and told him a few choice words.... He still thinks that it's funny...NOT!!!! He'll miss me one day when I'm gone... and there won't be a second chance for him..

My First Day Blogging

I'm new to blogging so please bear with me. I enjoy reading everyone's blogs. I hope to get mine decorated cute but I don't know how long that will take me. I want to be able to show pics of my kids and grandchildren. But that will depend on if my daughters will send me some pics of the grandchildren to post on here or not.
So for today..... I have had a really good day at work. I've worked on the review of systems some and also on some medical diagnoses for the Dr.
I do dread going home though. Cherish's cat has been feeling poorly and I don't know if he'll be alive when I get home or not. He's been such a sweet cat always loving on us and playing with Precious. So we'll see how it goes when I get home.
